The inaugral meeting of the Sweet Home chapter of PCSCEP took place in George's workshop. It was not an auspicious beginning. Aside from Travis there were only three other boys at the meeting...his regular partners in crime, Cliffie and Keith and Victor. At the second meeting, only Victor and Travis were in attendance. Discouraged with Sweet Home's response to the Revolution, Travis dropped out of school, 6 months short of graduation, and hitch-hiked to San Francisco. When he arrived, he discovered that there was no group at all. The PCSCEP was only one man, Jerry Matthews.
