One night up in Times Square they got a couple of nasty johns and Candy got a bad cut. They vowed never to turn another trick. Travis' operation had been paid for (another successful under-the-gurney special from Dr. Jones) and he decided to leave Manhattan for a while. Travis was able to pass so well that he did a stint in the Marines for a couple of years. But the army life wasn't for him (honorable discharge) and a couple of years later Travis found himself back in a wintery Times Square... ...his body leaning into the cold.
