Around this time Travis had his first serious fight with Harry. By the time Daryl pulled them apart Travis had managed to push Harry's left arm up into his shoulder blade, fracturing it in two places. In his right fist Harry had a bloody clump of Travis' hair. Harry and Travis stopped speaking after that and Harry stayed at home with the perenially pregnant Mary Frances (cautiously optimistic this time at six months). When Sally was born, Harry became extremely protective of his younger sister and would shoo Travis away if he approached her. When Daryl unexpectedly moved two months later Travis began to realize the pleasure of his own company.
